John Lewis asks for more

The success of recent Bathroom Planning and Design workshops delivered by the BMA's Bathroom Academy has left Partners at John Lewis, the department store chain, asking for more.

The two-day workshops presented by the Bathroom Academy, together with their partners and sponsors 20-20 Technologies Limited, have been received extremely positively.

There is an obvious appetite for the Bathroom Manufacturers Association’s offering and the roll-out to many more of the John Lewis Partners is planned over coming months.

The workshops, presented in an upbeat and relaxed style, feature both the theory and practice of bathroom planning and design and are designed to cater for all levels of experience. Subjects as diverse as domestic plumbing systems, the building and planning regulations, current trends and family needs are covered during the workshop.

The workshop which is enhanced with tasks designed to stretch the delegates’ imaginations is further enriched with hands-on bathroom planning exercises using the latest bespoke 20-20 Fusion software. Delegates create new bathroom plans from real-life examples using bathroom products from the new John Lewis catalogues.

Following its enviable success with fitted kitchens, the John Lewis Partnership is investing heavily in fitted bathrooms and is paying close attention to the details of the product range offered, its installation and, of course, the training of its Partners.

The loyal customer base is reacting positively to the new product line with growing requests for plans and orders for installations.
