The BMA gets involved

The BMA gets involved! It represents its members in important international forums and at the highest possible level, worldwide.  Two weeks ago our CEO, Yvonne Orgill, was in Ireland at the FEST conference presenting to delegates the importance of the increasingly influential and prize-winning WEPLS - the Water Efficient Product Labelling Scheme. Today she is accompanied by the BMA's Technical Director ( Chris Taylor- Hamlin) at the PMI Annual Conference in Washington DC.  Here Yvonne and Chris are showing how the UK's BMA is pushing the boundaries of water efficiency in bathrooms.  They are demonstrating to delegates from the US, Canada, and Australia, how the UK's voluntary scheme, which is free of government interference, can really make a difference in the drive for water saving.  They are also showing that education has a major role in changing attitudes to water efficiency and how the BMA's own Bathroom Academy can play its part. Both Yvonne and Chris have been warmly welcomed in the US and their water efficiency messages have been regarded as leading the field.
