Tempus
Fugit Its
twelve months since the last Annual Bathroom Conference and a lot of water has
passed under the bridge. Well, actually, it hasn’t. Rivers and lakes are drying
up.
And that’s the whole point of this year’s
conference. We are running out of the runny stuff. Aqua Pura is
an issue. There ain’t enough of the drinking variety to go around and
governments across the globe are getting to grips with it. Conference this year
will take sustainability as its theme – what can the industry do about it and
how can it profit from the new green agenda? Quid
pro quo.
Our bathroom industry has taken
sustainability to its roots. It is becoming embedded into the BMA members mind
set. More sustainable products have been developed in the last twelve months
than ever before and designers are creating products with energy and water
efficiency, and super-low carbon footprint, built in. Pro
bono.
The venue for this year’s Annual Bathroom
Conference is the stunningly beautiful and ultra-modern conference centre at Crowne
Plaza Heythrop Park, Oxfordshire.
All the arrangements are in place for what is
set to be the top bathroom business event of the year on 09 November 2011.
Eight world-class speakers are fired up to give us their views on the state of
the economy and the building trade in particular. We have discussions, from two
of the top people in the business,( on the role of the retailer and the merchant ) and we will hear case studies on driving behavioural change. We’ll look at
marketing sustainable products and Sue Nelson (BBC Radio 4’s award winning
presenter) will make the key note speech – “Sustainable Society. Does
it wash in the bathroom industry?”
Conference, this year, is set to be one of
the most important for our industry in a long time. Don’t miss out. Quo vadis? See you there – booking now.
Bathroom Conference 2011 is open to all in
the bathroom supply chain. Full details,
including fringe benefits and activities (including the charity golf event) on
